Hop thief recipe 2019

Posted: 12 May 2021 03:25 AM PDT

Hi does anyone have a kit and or malts recipe recipe- latest says hop thief 9, does that mean they change them. I am really enjoying this drop...

American-style Pale Ale
HOPS: Citra Lupulin and Calypso
MALTS: Wheat, Munich, Pale, Roasted Malt Barley
IBU: 40.0

At a guess I would say coopers Australia pale base + light dry malt + hops as stated and US05 ?

But that might be to light?

Thanks

Efficiency

If I reserve / put aside 4 litres of my calculated mash and sparge water, and use it as ice to cool the wort post boil, does this affect my efficiency %?

If it does, what is the theory here, less available water to extract sugars?

Note 23 lt batch.

Thanks
Phil

FS: 3 x 19l Corny Kegs (Refurbished) - Sydney (2031)

I bought 3 x 19l refurbished Corny Ball Lock Kegs from Cheeky Peak.
Unfortunately they're just slightly too big for my setup - they're 23cm diameter, 56cm tall.

I haven't even unwrapped them from delivery - they're fully pressure tested with new lids, posts, seals etc. as received.
They cost me $75 each, my loss is your gain for pickup from NSW 2031 for $175 for all three, or $60 each. I could consider delivery within central Sydney region.

Or better still, I'd be happy to swop all 3 for...
