| Lallemand premium series yeast Posted: 17 Aug 2021 02:12 AM PDT Hi guys does any one know the difference between what Lallemand call their premium series as opposed to their normal series yeasts? for instance you can get Nottingham ale (the one I'm interested in) in both, so whats the difference? |
| Posted: 16 Aug 2021 11:02 PM PDT Hi, I absolutly love the Voyager Malts so please don't take this as criticism of the Malt. It seems when using these Malts with the supplied figures I'm always about 4 to 7 pionts off at the end of the boil. This is especially with my favorite Voyager Veloria Schooner which I use regulary as a single Malt love it. If I get grain from the Brewman of another brand I quite often actually go over my figures as Ive dialled my settings down to 67% which is what I seem to get with Voyager, Ive... | Posted: 16 Aug 2021 04:11 PM PDT I've got a 50l keg of commercial craft cider I got for the price of the keg, but it's back sweetened and I like dry cider. I'm thinking a bout dropping some yeast in to chew up the sugars and make a strong dry cider. Any tips or yeast recommendations? Only cider I've made was dropping beer yeast in Apple juice bottles. |
