Post boil SG HELP!!!

Posted: 07 Jul 2021 02:32 AM PDT

Hi, I am about to pull my hair out with the the problem I'm having with my Robbobrew 35 L.
My pre boil SG is right on the money using either Beersmith or Brewfather, but my post boil is always at least 4-6 points low.
Its doing my head in, todays brew was a Sierra Nevada based recipe with a 90 minute boil.

Can't shut off KegLand gas cylinder

Posted: 06 Jul 2021 09:28 PM PDT

Morning team, I don't think my kegland gas bottle is turning off, I have been down in Melbourne for six weeks and I think the gas has been on my beer the whole time. The bottle I used to use had a lot of thread on it but this one only seems to turn about 90 degrees, is that normal? I don't want to force it and break it.

OK so I went to my local brew shop to ask about making a choc stout. The thought was to get some cocao nibs, lactose powder ect but he just grabbed a bottle of this stuff & said this is all you need. Everything you're trying to do with all that stuff is all in the little bottle. I made the brew up last night & if it tastes anything like what it smelled like I'll be a happy man!
