Industry Shares Predictions on Future of Low/No Alc Category

Thanks to the larger health and wellness movement, the low- and no-alcohol category is forecasted to experience faster growth than both beer and wine between 2020 and 2024 with an expected CAGR of 20.6%, according to The Spirits Business. As consumer demand for the category increases, there is also a global rush to meet it from both new and international players.

"The trend for mindful drinking and the rise of low/no drinks isn’t something that’s happened overnight," says Marine Rozenfeld, innovation development lead for Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand at Bacardi. "Being aware of why, how much and what alcohol we drink is a cultural movement that has been growing over the past decade."
