Posted: 16 Apr 2021 02:23 AM PDT SS Brewtech 57L Kettle Brilliant design goes into all the Brewtech stuff. The trub dam works a treat and provides means for crystal clear wort production. Works great on gas burner but also built to work on induction if you're interested in the future of home brewing! The lid fits conveniently on the side handles - nice touch to the design. In excellent condition. $150 0477 044 060 |
Posted: 16 Apr 2021 12:31 AM PDT Ok I'll kick off with a couple. Did you hear about the masochist who loved to take cold showers so he didn't. .................................................................. Paddy and Seamus had missed the last bus and were walking home at midnight, when they passed the bus depot. A window was open so Paddy hopped in to steal a bus. After much banging and crashing Paddy came back out through the window. "We're out of luck, Seamus, there wasn't a number 153 in there" "Bloody... Continuing Jokes Thread |

WANTED: Firestone Challenger VI Keg Liquid Out Post (5/8"-18) Posted: 15 Apr 2021 08:13 PM PDT Hi guys, Last ditch attempt before I fork out a small fortune on shipping from the states. Does anyone have any liquid out posts for the Challenger VI kegs that they'd be willing to offload? Specifically the 5/8"-18 sized ones (Easy Kegging seem to have 9/16"-18 for some reason). Alternately, if anyone has an old Challenger VI that's past it, I'd be happy to pay for the stripped spare parts? Otherwise, if anyone can point me in the direction of any posts locally, I'd be much obliged. Cheers |
Posted: 15 Apr 2021 07:02 PM PDT What are the best uses for 50L kegs at a homebrew scale? I now have a 65L Digiboil, so a keggle isn't needed. I mash in a 45L esky, so a mash tun isn't needed. I was thinking about a kegmenter for pressure fermenting, but the size is a bit small to make the most out of the Digiboil(50L post boil). And filling them with beer means I need a big fridge or freezer (and a strong back!) and as I'd like to always have at least 2 styles of beer to choose from, >100L of beer on tap seems excessive... 50L keg uses |
