Ballistic Black Forrest Birthday Cake Stout recipe Posted: 18 Apr 2021 10:03 PM PDT Hi all, recently I was inspired to brew up a stout that closely resembled the Ballistic Birthday Cake Stout. If anyone was interested in brewing it, I thought I'd share the recipe to save you the time trying to develop it from scratch. Overall the first impression is quite close but I'm yet to do a side by side to compare my recipe to the real deal. I hope you enjoy, I will post a photo when it's ready to drink. Posted: 18 Apr 2021 07:22 PM PDT This thread is because we have been getting some questions from our customers and often we are answering the same questions to multiple different people and perhaps the more efficient way to handle these questions is through a public forum. Also as we feel that we have a team of staff with a fairly wide range of experience especially in the keg dispensing hardware field we feel that this can also be an area for customers to ask us about specific advice on how to use gear. It should be... KegLand Questions and Answers |
Keg Carb Pressure Vs Serving Pressure Posted: 18 Apr 2021 06:21 PM PDT I tried to find something on this but nothig quite answered my questions. I used the keg carb calculator to get the my keg pressure which turned out to be 0.45bar (6.5psi) but I seem to hear a lot that people use serving pressure of 12-14psi. So I was a little curious, is there a difference of is the carb pressure just the same as the serving pressure for that beer? |

Posted: 18 Apr 2021 05:24 PM PDT Plans are underway for the inaugural post covid Victorian Swap Meet and Brew day. It will be great to be able to get together again and do a big swap/brew day. This is an event that has grown over the years and is essentially a bunch of homebrew blokes that like to get together - its not affiliated with any club or organisation as such, just a very social get together. For anyone that has never attended one its great event that runs over the course of a weekend - feel free to attend for a... 2021 VIC Autumn Case Swap |
Posted: 18 Apr 2021 05:21 PM PDT This is the immersion chiller that came with my 65L BrewZilla. It is brand new and never used. Measures 28cm wide and is about 10m long. Due to its awkward size, prefer pickup in Newcastle. $50. |
