AB Inbev Eyes Opportunities in Beyond Beer Categories
Beyond beer, wine, and spirits, a fourth category that meets at the intersection of the classics is beginning to take shape. Both AB Inbev and Molson Coors have zeroed in on the opportunities within the fourth category forming around RTDs, canned cocktails, seltzers, and flavored malt beverages.
AB Inbev now has 90 brands in its "Beyond Beer" category. "Our teams stay close to emerging trends in the Beyond Beer space and are empowered to invest in both organic and inorganic growth opportunities, " says AB Inbev CEO Carlos Brito.
