Anheuser-Busch Expanding RTD Hard Seltzer Production
Anheuser-Busch has announced plans to invest $64 million in its Los Angeles brewing operations to drive economic recovery, expand sustainability initiatives, and bolster their hard seltzer capabilities. Half of the investment will be used to expand canning capabilities and drive innovation in the RTD and hard seltzer space.
Anheuser-Busch currently produces several seltzer offerings including Bud Light Seltzer, BL Lemonade Seltzer, BonV!V, and rapper Travis Scott’s new agave-based hard seltzer line CACTI. The supplier has recently decided to double down their focus on “Beyond Beer” products.
“We’re the most complex brewery in our organization, because we have the infrastructure to expand our seltzer capabilities and move into RTDs,” says Eric Gutierrez, Senior General Manager of Anheuser-Busch Los Angeles.
