Posted: 23 Aug 2021 10:29 PM PDT Hi. I have been lurking for about a year, and find aussiehomebrewer.com very useful both for recipes and ideas. I'm now asking for some technical help. I have a kegland kegolator and I am having some real trouble with the set-up degassing itself. It will be fine one night, and the next, the system has no CO2 at all. None in the kegs and none in the CO2 container. I've done all the checks on the lines and connections, and they appear to be fine (using soapy water, and no leaks at the... Mini Keg pick up line vs beer line Posted: 23 Aug 2021 08:30 PM PDT I've recently bought a new mini keg (5L) and it came with an extra long collection line (inside) the Keg. It's enough to loop around the bottom of the keg a few times, instead of just hang from the beer-out post and touch/flush with the bottom. My question is if I can use the long internal line to regulate pressure instead of the line outside of the keg, between keg and the tap? Is the impact of internal/external lines the same? Or because it's internal, it'll also be pressurized and not... Mini Keg pick up line vs beer line |

Posted: 23 Aug 2021 03:04 AM PDT Can someone shine some light on this? Why does everyone seam to blend hops and not just have all one hop variety in a dry hop? Now so far I have just been using 33-50g of one hop for my dry hops with ok results. not great though . Ive just been thinking that ipa's just may not be my thing. The reason for using one one hop at a time is I just want to get through one 100g bag of hops before opening another, for freshness reasons. Am I answering my own question with my average results? |
