| Posted: 31 May 2021 11:27 PM PDT Just to keep on the Guten hijack I found Murphy China freight the cheapest all up under the $500 for the 30L but never went ahead So WEAL how is it you might have to start a new thread because some people will get the sh&*ts for some reason You said the boil started straight away after the mash was that youre mistake or ??? feed back would be great If I had a BRAU or a GF it wouldnt worry me as I would be set for making wort just more options now Have been tossing up making my own Q Kev... It allows the precise temperature control of the BrewPi without the need to set up a raspberry pi/PC. You still get PID control which is accessible from your computer/phone connected to your wifi network. I'll post more when I get onto my computer tonight at half-time. Go Crows. |
| 4V system with pump an 75L Blichmann Boilermaker pot Posted: 31 May 2021 08:04 PM PDT Hi all selling my lovely 4V system due to not brewing. Consists of 75L Blichmann Boilermaker kettle. Cost nearly $800 on its own. Has one slight sent on edge of base seen in photo from outside and also near brush tip on inside. This was from slip while cleaning. Otherwise is as new basically. 70L Techni ice esky kitted with tap and cam lock fittings, copper mainifold false bottom and sparing. 50L Birco urn as HLT with cam locks 20L urn as Herms with copper coil with cam locks... 4V system with pump an 75L Blichmann Boilermaker pot |
| Posted: 31 May 2021 12:05 AM PDT last year we had quite a thread going on grumpies about music people are listening to and everyone had a good go at paying everyone one else out for there music. mind you i think i copped most the flack. no tangent i don't drive a valiant or where flannies. (what happened to our mate tangent anyway) anyway you all know iam a led zepplin freak. but i can't pick a best zep tune its impossible. but i think my vote for all time greatest tune goes to the stones for sympathy for the devil. iam... | (BNE) 140L bar fridge (ferment or kegs) Posted: 30 May 2021 11:45 PM PDT Read the spiel below but the tl;dr is: -use with external thermostat -quiet, chills to 2 deg no problem -fit 2 full size cornies or just a 30L plastic fermenter (I think it would also fit a ss brewbucket too) -it's only $30, pick up 4051 Westinghouse RA141S-R bar fridge used for home brew. Will need to use with an external thermostat as internal is broken. Can include a 'mashmaster fridgemate' - haven't calibrated but probe seems to be working (came with the fridge I now have but I have an... (BNE) 140L bar fridge (ferment or kegs) |
