Campari Group Looks to Asia and U.S. for Acquisitions
Campari Group has revealed that they are looking to acquire more premium brands in Asia and the United States in an effort to further their strategy of becoming less reliant on Italy. The group has room to grow in the Asian-Pacific region, which currently only accounts for 9% of Campari’s global sales, mostly to Australia. Campari CEO Bob Kunze-Concewitz has hinted at a strong interest in the fast-growing tequila category.
“Campari has built a structure capable of managing revenues that are higher than our current ones,” said Kunze-Concewitz. “We aim for premium brands with a particular focus on the United States.”
