Posted: 10 Jun 2021 04:51 AM PDT Hi y'all. Looking at getting into milling my own grains and am now looking at my storage options. I'm sure I can figure out the containers but as the title suggests I'm wondering about keeping the grains in a shed in good old Victoria with our lovely temp swings. Just built a 12x7.5m shed with aircell in the roof but nothing in the walls. If stored in sealed containers will this be ok?. How and where do you store yours? |
Mixing Cascade with Galaxy hops Posted: 10 Jun 2021 04:43 AM PDT About to start a Sierra Nevada American Pale Ale clone. The recipe calls for 2x12g Cascade finishing hops(1 for steeping and 1 for dry hopping). I do double batches so double that. My question is this. I have some Galaxy hops left over from my last Stone and Wood Pacific Ale clone and I was wanting to use them in this Pale Ale brew. I have read that the Galaxy hops are stronger and perhaps should be used to a one to two ratio when combing with cascade hops. I only want to dry hop with the... Mixing Cascade with Galaxy hops |
