Volume 352 | July 27, 2021 Whiskey Growth Leading Sales On and Off-Premise The growth of whiskey has impacted both on and off-premise sales more than any other category, according to a Beverage Information Group survey of industry members. Of those surveyed: 22.5% said whiskey drove the most growth on-premise in the first quarter, followed closely by craft beer and tequila. Whiskey also dominated growth off-premise for 32% of industry members, followed by tequila with 13.51%. 62% of off-premise respondents described their most recent quarterly sales were above expectations. 58% of on-premise respondents described their most recently quarterly sales as below expectations.
