Posted: 21 Aug 2021 01:14 AM PDT This thread is because we have been getting some questions from our customers and often we are answering the same questions to multiple different people and perhaps the more efficient way to handle these questions is through a public forum. Also as we feel that we have a team of staff with a fairly wide range of experience especially in the keg dispensing hardware field we feel that this can also be an area for customers to ask us about specific advice on how to use gear. It should be... KegLand Questions and Answers |
Wisestir MS-20A magnetic stirrer lab quality Posted: 20 Aug 2021 11:49 PM PDT Hi all, I have two of these WiseStir MS-20A laboratory quality magnetic stirrers. I only have use for one. The second one has never been used except just to confirm it works. You can see the specs in the link below, but the quality of these is superb, and they are quiet as and have rubber feet. Comes in the box with the manual, the quality control inspection sheet and a 1in magnetic stir bar. In the picture is a 2L starter on my stir plate, which is exactly the same as the one in the... Posted: 20 Aug 2021 11:28 PM PDT Hi, I absolutly love the Voyager Malts so please don't take this as criticism of the Malt. It seems when using these Malts with the supplied figures I'm always about 4 to 7 pionts off at the end of the boil. This is especially with my favorite Voyager Veloria Schooner which I use regulary as a single Malt love it. If I get grain from the Brewman of another brand I quite often actually go over my figures as Ive dialled my settings down to 67% which is what I seem to get with Voyager, Ive... Posted: 20 Aug 2021 10:18 PM PDT Greetings, Apologies if this has been asked before but I didn't find a similar thread. I've decided to get back into all grain brewing and was wondering where some of the best (price and service) places to buy grain in the Sydney area. Looking to start of small with single batches of cracked grain delivered (or pick up if close enough.) Looking for a reliable supplier which I can keep coming back to. Sorry again. Thank you in advance. Jello |
3 vessel + brew gear for sale Bris Posted: 20 Aug 2021 10:16 PM PDT Unfortunately have to massively downsize my set up, everything in good condition. All offers considered, would rather not split the 3 vessels but could for the right price if someone wants to opt for BIAB system. Let me know if you're after any photos or have any questions. 3 Vessel NANO electric HERMS system (70L HLT, 70L Mash, 90L Boil, 2x temp control, 2x ss head pumps) (similar to this but all electric... 3 vessel + brew gear for sale Bris |
FS: Bris (pickup only) Bulk base malts and spec malts - SOLD Posted: 19 Aug 2021 07:21 PM PDT Hi all, moving in a few weeks and the brewery is likely to be in storage for 6-12 months, so might as well move on my consumables. Malts listed below. All sealed in airtight containers with the spec malts vac-sealed. You'll need to byo bags, buckets, whatever for the base malts as I'm taking my drums with me, but the spec malts are all vac-sealed in bags - I've discarded any bags where the seal has failed. Note that I've got the batch analysis for most of the base malts listed here, but... FS: Bris (pickup only) Bulk base malts and spec malts - SOLD |
