Posted: 06 Jul 2021 06:38 AM PDT For sale is my 20L Braumeister. It is in excellent condition. $1200. Item is located in Mollymook, NSW. It's an older generation, but I have only done about 10 brews in it. I am a brewer by profession, thought I'd do more experimentation with it, but turns out brewing 5 days a week is enough for me. The only issue with it is that both of the handles have come off, just from normal use. I don't find that to be an issue anyway. Liam |
Question about lost sweetness in a tropical stout? Posted: 06 Jul 2021 05:18 AM PDT Hi All, Made a tropical stout which i tasted two weeks after bottling and it was very tasty with a lot of residual sweetness (verging on too much). Anyway, two weeks more and tried it again and all the sweetness was gone?? I measured the FG again and it hadnt changed from when it was bottled (1013). Disappointing as the beer was so tasty with that sweetness. Any ideas why? |

After much banging and crashing Paddy came back out through the window. "We're out of luck, Seamus, there wasn't a number 153 in there" "Bloody... Continuing Jokes Thread |
Posted: 05 Jul 2021 07:30 PM PDT Hey all, I am very new to growing some food plants. Had chillies for a few years, some berries and herbs. Last year I planted my first hops and had a decent crop. Can't wait until this years harvest. In the meantime, I have a nice little spot in the garden where I WAS going to plant more hops. This is a sunny spot with about 2metres of climbing trellis. Anyone have thoughts of what food plant would grow there? Have been thinking of some sort of bean, but open to any suggestions. Feel... Food Gardening |
