Hi bc, It's finally here, our recipe subscription service has been some time in the making but it's now running and our first dispatch is coming up. This one is for all you serial brewers!
Serial Brewer Recipe Subscription We are excited to announce our monthly recipe subscription service - Serial Brewer. Subscribers will get an all-grain recipe pack delivered each month, and we have some great recipes lined up. These recipes are from competition winners, breweries or clones of great craft beers. The Brewshop Team is enjoying testing out these recipes, and you can be sure only the best ones are selected. If you aren't sure what to brew next or want to brew a range of beers that you might not normally try, then this could be for you. Find out more about this monthly service and if it suits your brewing.
Collaboration Brew with Forgotten 43 We have teamed up with Forgotten 43 brewery in Stratford and together we have made a tasty Red IPA called Pitch & Shout. This west coast IPA has notes of fresh pine and citrus with a hint of sweet malt on the aroma, and a lingering bitterness. It will be freshly available for you to try from our stand at Beervana, and soon to be available in 500ml bottles. Speaking of Beervana...
See You At Beervana It's next week, so if you haven't got your Beervana tickets yet then you'd better hurry. Some sessions are already sold out. And don't forget to drop in and say hi at our stand. We have some special bling this year, and of course you can get a Red IPA collaboration beer from Forgotten 43 to sip on while you check it out. See you there!
Staff Profile - Auto Auto has been working full-time at the Brewshop for 6 months now. His interests are in all grain brewing and learning how to get the most out of his Brewzilla, Unitank, Glycol Chiller and SS Brewtech Fermenters. Auto has brewed beer and spirits for many years, pouring his brews from an antique 3 tap beer tower in his homemade keezer. He has been enjoying seeing all the possibilities and potential of brewing while at Brewshop. Auto is an avid gardener, believing growing your own food is a more nutritious and sustainable option. He also has travelled the country thoroughly during his 28 years as a Tour Bus Driver/Guide. Auto continues his passion for cycling and tramping in mountains, including enjoying his own beer with his own brew label while at the summit of Mt Taranaki last January.
