Engine Crane as Brewery general lifter Posted: 22 Apr 2021 07:39 AM PDT Everytime I see the engine cranes come up on special from SCA and the like, I wonder if this would make a good multipurpose brewery crane for lifting malt pipes from the braumeister or moving other equally heavy things around, such as full fermenters etc. I know one could build something more purpose specific, and probably smaller (and to suit 100kg, rather than 1000kg), but that hasn't happened yet. Posted: 22 Apr 2021 02:12 AM PDT Have a brewzilla 35l en route as I type. Have done a few tins for homebrewing and a good few spirit runs purely for hand sanitizer of course. Am a bit of a boutique beer drinker and tasted a friends all grain and realised why mine really weren't what I wanted. Have seen some great information on here and youtube. Spent a while watching some of the recommended gurus. Am now looking to get ready for my first brew in the brewzilla over next week or so. I have a kegging sytem ready and waiting. |
